What Will I Be Doing?

RAs work and interact with, on average between 40 and 60 residents. Therefore, they need to be aware of and sensitive to the needs, values, and lifestyles of many different people. This requires that RAs be open, supportive, and confident. RAs are supervised by professional staff who help with training, provide support, facilitate team building, and help develop RAs through one-on-one supervision.

Each RA staff is made up of four to twenty RAs. Your staff is there to support and challenge you. As a team, RAs set the tone for their hall and build community both on their individual floors and throughout the building. Some RA responsibilities are listed below:
